Food & Beverage Assistant:
Highfield Golf & Footgolf Kildare, have an excellent opportunity for someone seeking work
as a Food & Beverage Assistant. This role is a full- time position, which will include
weekend and evening hours.
Highfield is a unique Golf and Footgolf Course, which is home to the Irish Open Footgolf
Championship. There is a clubhouse with a fully licensed bar and restaurant on site.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer service
Bar work
Food service
Food preparation
Maintaining the premises to a high level of cleanliness
Reception duties – answering phone, taking bookings, administration etc
Maintaining stock levels
Key Skills and Experience
Previous food and beverage experience desirable, but not essential
Knowledge of HACCP food safety controls an advantage
Excellent customer service and communication skills is required
Ability to work on own initiative

Full Time Greenkeeper
Highfield Golf & Footgolf Kildare, have an excellent opportunity for someone seeking work
as a greenkeeper on a unique Golf and Footgolf Course, which is home to the Irish Open
Footgolf Championship Open Footgolf.
The greenkeeper reports directly to the Head Greenkeeper. Under their supervision,
the greenkeeper is required to carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks
outlined below.
This role is 39 hours per week over 7 days. There is some weekend work which is
assigned on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough.
Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee
markers, emptying bins, cleaning surfaces of debris.
Check machinery before use, fuel after use and report any
irregularities to the management immediately.
Maintain good standards of health and safety for self and others.
Repairing divots on playing surfaces.
Irrigating turf.
Marking of hazards, out of bounds and ground under repair.
Maintaining bunkers.
Strimming.
Renovate worn and damaged turf.
Driving a tractor with implements.
Understanding the rules of golf relating to golf course
maintenance.
Maintaining trees and shrubs on the golf course.
Driving range maintenance and golf ball collection.
Communicating effectively to all team members in the venue
and golfers on the course.
Key Skills and Experience:
Green Keeping experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to communicate effectively
Work on own initiative
Experience driving all types of machinery is a distinct
advantage
W driving licence is required, and some experience with
driving machinery would be preferred
