Welcome to our favourite time of the week! During the summer months, we have the ‘Friday Nighters’ competition every Friday from 5pm. This is a fun 9-hole competition that is ideal for beginners and old members alike!
How does it work?
Everyone plays 9 holes, then the men’s cards are put in one hat and the ladies in another. One card from each is then pulled out at random and the cores are added up. So, if whether you have 2 points or 20 points you have equal chance of winning a prize!
Everyone who turns up and enjoys themselves is a winner – and the lucky few take home a bottle of wine!
It’s a social competition – some fun on a Friday and a fantastic way to get into the swing of things, meet some members and find your feet! New joiners and beginners are always especially welcomed – it’s €5 for visitors, and €3 for members.
